Overview:

 

The Manager-Business Development and Sales is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Marketing Team. Individual will be responsible for selecting, training and developing new Business Development Executives. Individual is expected to lead a team of Business Development Executives with a aim of generating leads and bringing in sales. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Responsible for regular Delivery of team sales, service level components, quality and productivity targets & indicators.
  2. Generating new leads with the aim of creating more sales.
  3. Passing the leads to the Marketing team.
  4. Provide weekly report to the reporting manager
  5. People Management, including all HR related issues, as well as staff development.
  6. Operational Management: Managing the floor, adherence to schedule.
  7. Ownership and problem resolution.
  8. Call monitoring, coaching and feedback, responsibility for delivery of the defined customer experience in every call.
  9. Training and development of staff.
  10. Motivation, leadership for a team and developing future leaders.
  11. Recommendations for product and process development based on customer feedback and analysis of the same.
  12. Conducting performance appraisal for the team. 
  13. Contribute for the initial hiring and selecting process of the front line.
  14. Compiling reports on team’s performance and customer feedback.
  15. Communication and being a focal point of dissemination of information from management to team and vis versa.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

  1. 4-8 years telemarketing and/or inside sales experience and team handling experience.
  2. Understanding of complete Sales cycle.
  3. Proven team management experience.
  4. Ready to learn new technologies.
  5. Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  6. A proven track record of strong client relationships.
  7. Excellent client service skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Experience:

  • Good understanding of MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
