Job Description

Overview:
The Business Analyst/Chartered Accountant will work with the IT project team to help deliver the changes that will affect various Settlement and Finance processes. The candidate should Have a logical structured approach, he/she will need to demonstrate experience in Settlement reporting and analysis, Debt collection, Invoice processing and a keen ability to report and analyze financial data for verification approaches.

Job Requirements:

  1. Evaluating financial business process maps for finance and settlement matters.
  2. Create rules and test scenarios for finance and settlements. 
  3. Finance/Settlement Test execution for Settlement and invoicing activity.
  4. Design and Develop auditable data flow process with embedded controls
  5. Efficiently Document procedures for Primary and non-primary Settlement verification.
  6. Proactively Interpreting requirements to ensure compliance within the regulatory framework.
  7. Project engagement with Finance team.
  8. Deliver trainings on Finance/Settlement matters.
  9. Efficiently reconciling complex data to highlight data integrity issues
  10. Produce comprehensive working procedures
  11. Effectively communicate and deliver Training for Compliance matters.

Required Experience and Skills:

  1. Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
  2. Experience with Settlement activity, preferable from a product/services industry sector.
  3. Experience in Trading/Manufacturing domain must.
  4. Skilled in identifying internal controls to ensure adherence to procedures.
  5. Strong team/ people management skills
  6. Excellent communication and partnering skills.
  7. Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  8. Experience in Auditing preferred.
  9. Experienced in working on project activity.
  10. Experienced in working in a similar role in the utility industry.
  11. Exceptional Documentation Skills.
  12. Demonstrate leadership and organizational capabilities
  13. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
  14. Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
  15. Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
  16. Should be able to define and document business requirements with integral quality controls.
  17. Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
