Job Description
Overview:
The Business Analyst/Chartered Accountant will work with the IT project team to help deliver the changes that will affect various Settlement and Finance processes. The candidate should Have a logical structured approach, he/she will need to demonstrate experience in Settlement reporting and analysis, Debt collection, Invoice processing and a keen ability to report and analyze financial data for verification approaches.
Job Requirements:
- Evaluating financial business process maps for finance and settlement matters.
- Create rules and test scenarios for finance and settlements.
- Finance/Settlement Test execution for Settlement and invoicing activity.
- Design and Develop auditable data flow process with embedded controls
- Efficiently Document procedures for Primary and non-primary Settlement verification.
- Proactively Interpreting requirements to ensure compliance within the regulatory framework.
- Project engagement with Finance team.
- Deliver trainings on Finance/Settlement matters.
- Efficiently reconciling complex data to highlight data integrity issues
- Produce comprehensive working procedures
- Effectively communicate and deliver Training for Compliance matters.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience with Settlement activity, preferable from a product/services industry sector.
- Experience in Trading/Manufacturing domain must.
- Skilled in identifying internal controls to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Strong team/ people management skills
- Excellent communication and partnering skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Experience in Auditing preferred.
- Experienced in working on project activity.
- Experienced in working in a similar role in the utility industry.
- Exceptional Documentation Skills.
- Demonstrate leadership and organizational capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
- Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach
- Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment
- Should be able to define and document business requirements with integral quality controls.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
